Isaac Levitan (Russian: Исаа́к Ильи́ч Левита́н; 1860 – 1900) was a premier classical Russian landscape painter who advanced the genre of the "mood landscape".

In 1998, Mikhael Naroditsky's Diploma of a graduate of The Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture was signed by the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts, sculptor Lev Kerbel and the rector Ilya Glazunov.
